Re-add old podcasts?

Postby InShaneee » Sat Jun 30, 2012 8:11 am

Due to a bad drive on my server, I was recently forced to re-install subsonic, thus losing all my config files. I got it installed ok, but I was wondering if there's any way to get subsonic to recognize my existing podcasts. I can re-add the subscriptions just fine, but I'd rather not redownload the podcasts, and in some cases, I can't redownload them. I've already got the podcast files, with filled-out metadata; can I do anything to make subsonic add them to a podcast's directory?

Hmm! that's an unusual one :?
Making the assumption that you are still on 4.6 SS or below you could try to add them to database directly.
(Know doubt you could with 4.7 but I do not know that DB structure)
Get into db.view and examine the tables podcast_channel and podcast_episode.
From there you are on your own but I would imagine its the status columns (where it say's completed) is the one you are after.

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
