Internal Error Occurred (error code 7)

Postby jtt777 » Sat Jun 30, 2012 1:13 pm

Hi,

I've been using Subsonic for a long time. I love it. Just today for some reasons when i boot my computer, I get an error that pops up tied to the subsonic application that says "An internal error has occurred (error code 7)" and the subsonic app doens't automatically show up in the notification area. I have to manuall do that. It seems like it works after that point. I can't figure out how to get rid of this error code. I've tried reinstalling subsonic (just did it right on top of the exisiting version) and also tried a windows system file check, still have the same problem.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Jeff

Just to check my faulty memory (mine, not my computer's) I did a search for "error code 7" and as I initially thought this is one I've not seen before in the forums.

My hunch would be either a browser related error or a jetty cache error. I'd try clearing both to see if that fixes the problem.

A quick google search suggests many causes (and solutions :( )
but my money is on a dodgy java install/update - try a re-install of Java and see if that works.
Also have a look at http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-2220 ... as-occured
that seems the most likely cause - but it's all guess work

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
