First of all let me just say how fantastic Subsonic is and how much I appreciate how much effort must have gone into the development of it... I am a developer myself and can see the thought and effort that has gone into subsonic. I have donated and am actively using your software and am recommending it to everyone who will listen!
One issue i am seeing however is that subsonic is constantly accessing the hard drive on my machine. Basically every 10-15 seconds there is a short burst of disk access activity. Whilst this isn't a big issue I am curious as to whether this is just due to indexing and if there is any way i can stop it? My server is practically silent and it is slightly irritating when the drives burst into life ever 10 seconds... I know i am fussy!
I am 100% certain that subsonic is the application accessing the disk as i have monitored the disk activity and if i uninstall subsonic it no longer happens.
I have used the standard windows install to the c drive and am running xp pro with service pack 3. I am running using RAID 1 although i doubt this is an issue.
Any advice or suggestions would be great.
Thanks again,
Dan
