Re: Missing Track Numbers

I do not use the /nn field myself but as a test I added /nn to both track # and Disc no fields using mp3Tag on a test album.
Track numbers still displayed correctly in SS.
Note Disc # is not displayed in SS but is used in sorting.

Try adding the /nn back to the track numbers using Winamp - I wonder if it's something about iTunes tagging that's causing the problem.
Ffmpeg is used to extract the tag info - are you using the standard ffmpeg shipped with SS?

This was tested with both 4.6 and 4.7b2

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

BKKKPewsey you are the man!! Thank you! In all the years i have been managing various music collections i have never used the disc number field so i have just always ignored it, i have always signified multiple disc albums in the album title itself. I compared the 3 albums i was having issues with and sure enough all 3 of them had oddly long disc numbers. I deleted the data from this field in the tag for all 3 albums and sure enough, the track numbers now show up in subsonic. I then just as a good measure just deleted this data from all my tracks since i dont use it anyway.

THANKS AGAIN!
