Bug report: sonic summary

Postby Gandohr » Thu Feb 26, 2009 8:11 am

Its a small bug but never the less i like to mention it.
On the left side above the artist list there is a summary stating the number of artist, albums, songs

56 artists
610 albums
8,686 songs
50.19 GB (~ 779 hours)

it always displays 1 lesser album then there actualy is
and 1 song to many
In the case above there 611 albums and 8685 songs

Extra information

Subsonic displays

56 artists
610 albums
8,686 songs
50.19 GB (~ 779 hours)

MediaMonkey shows

56 artists
625 albums
8,685 songs
50.08 GB (~ 611 hours)

I use the following directory structure
\Artist\Album\Files
All files are MP3

I have 56 Artist directories.
I have 625 Album directories
and i have 8685 MP3 files.

So looks to me mediamonkey shows the correct values, and subsonic is missing some.
Logs do not show errors

Search index is greated with 9368 according to the logs
Seems to be the right setting aswell (8685+625+56)=9366 + . and .. i guess :D

I've set the memory level to 256 (was 64)

Your not the only one. Mine does it too, but I'm not sure what would be causing it, and, though it's inaccurate, I've just looked at the stats as more of an "estimation" since they are off a little... :D

My summary has disappeared completely after upgrading to 3.6 but other weird things are happening too ('random albums', 'newest' etc are no longer displayed when I go 'home') so its probably an issue with the upgrade for me.

***EDIT***
All fixed after an index delete and restore
