Playing subsonic movie pr music with an external player(vlc)

Postby svavart » Tue Jul 10, 2012 8:24 pm

Hi guys I am trying to play a song or video file with VLC as the player. I switched the settings to correctly use a second party player and then I got this m3u file to play in vlc.
So I opened the file in VLC player and I just get the following error.
"No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "undf". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.

Any way I can fix this ?
The default player does work however. (inbrowser one.)

All I know is VLC used to work. They changed something in the way it streams and "broke" it for use with Subsonic. I know it was being looked at, but for now, we just use the inbrowser player, which works rather well.
