Streaming over local network and it is working fine. CPU about 6 or 7%. Navigating page is slow but otherwise works.
Now to setup the reverse apache proxy and ssl.

No problems with mem, cpu use or whatever even on midori really. uploading through ftp and the subsonic uploader, works fine through mobile (iphone and android), and have it streaming locally and externally. Transcoding is missing but it works fine for avi, etc and all my music and video has worked so far. I guess it might be the flac that is missing but it seems to be in the list of transcodes. Really happy with it- streaming doesn't bother it as much as I expected at all. A successful server/streamer for media and is handling multiple users (though it was a bit choppy today and failed with ssh but who knows what that could have been).
Have it under control with ssh and vnc mostly. VNC is great- I can mess with the raspi as I'm walking into town. Jailbroken iphones good with raspi as uploading and networked storage is possible. Android's 'andftp' app combines very well for transfers. I've been using iSub on the iphone, which works really well, and subsonic media streamer on the android. Strangely the iSub works better than Sindre's own...
Just expanded to larger usb (which I had to add to fstab), and have bought another 1tb xhdd so there might be some real changes to media around here...
