Video streaming gives bad ratio

Postby nowid50 » Mon Aug 13, 2012 4:41 pm

Hello,

I've been using Subsonic for quite a time and I found that there is a bad ratio while transcoding and I don't have any clues to fix it.
Let me show you, here is the (kinda) original frame :

The output :

Is there anyone that can help fix this ?

Thanks in advance :)

Right click on the player bar - 3rd option allows you to toggle stretching options.

Oh thanks, I didn't know that. :)
But isn't there a way to make transcoding aware of the ratio of the input movie ? Even if that saves one second, it is still more user friendly. :D

I think later versions of JW Player also adapt to the video better. You can download the latest version from:

http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/

and just drop it in the right directory. The instructions are in here somewhere.
