But offline search searches only by artist name?

Like I said in a few posts back, I'm having trouble determining what search is actually supposed to do. When I search for an artist in online mode it returns the artist, and some random albums/songs of the artist but not all of them. I can't figure out what it is actually doing. So right now offline actually searches everything, but only returns results that actually contain what your searching. If you search for something you know is in an album it will return albums, same thing for songs. Just try searching for 'the'. You should get some of each to show that it actually searches Artist/Albums/Songs.

I have these songs offline: All around the world and Chasing the sun

Searching for "around" gives me nothing but "sun" gives me "Sunrise Avenue", which is an artist.

Not sure how this search works, but "around" should give me "All around the world" and "sun" should give me "Chasing the sun" (title) AND "Sunrise Avenue" (artist)

Try instaling this apk. I'm thinking this might solve your issue as now it searches recursively for all songs instead of just statically assuming a artist/album/song relationship. If this doesn't work can you use a file explorer and get the path which the song you are trying to search for is on?

Well done, works perfectly with this version!

One feature request: Long tap on a playlist would display an option to make the whole playlist available offline. It's possible now but you have to select all songs and press "Pin" (long and boring procedure). Also the "Make whole playlist offline" method should only schedule non-offline songs for download. Now it schedules also offline songs.

But it would be perfect if you went all the way and did it like Google Music does it. Tick in playlists you want to make offline and then make a "Sync" button that syncs the ticked playlists (could be manually) to your device.

But awesome work dude, please make this awesome app available again on Play Store, because some of us have already paid for it.

Alright, I finally got tired of waiting to see if Google would respond. Seems like they are just ignoring me so here goes another attempt. I wanted to call it SubDroid but that name was already taken so I settled on DSub. Contact me with your name so I can refund the purchase if you previously purchased Subphonic.

I just bought it again and continue to wish you the best in development.

Same suggestion: Can you make it say "parker@DSub" rather than "parker@Android"?

Not quite sure I know what you mean. Where does it say parker@Android at?

Here's me using D-Sub: http://i.imgur.com/RN9wT.png

One of my users above me is using iSub.
Just thought it would be a mini-advertisement. Many of my 40 users use Android.

Alright, that was a fairly simple fix and it will go in the next update.

PS to everyone else I am still working on the offline capabilities, just getting background downloading is being a pain to get working. I know I haven't been saying much about it but I am still working on it I promise :D

Just bought this for my new Nexus 7 tablet and it works perfectly with Jellybean. My needs are simple so I have no suggestions. I just want it to simply play my music while at home and it does that flawlessly. Keep up the good work!

A thing that I'm missing is to be able to control DSub from the android lock screen. Ie: I'm using DSub on my Asus TF201. This tablet is locked with a PIN. Now if someone steps up to ask something, I need to unlock, go to DSub open the notification bar and pause. When I want to resume, I need to go back to DSub and start again.

Prev, Next, Pause/Play from the lockscreen would be a great option (an option Google Music also has).

Cheers,
Johan

When using the notification controls and pausing, the controls disappear.

Any way that could toggle between play and pause?

That's because pause = "stop" :)

Just wanting it to work like pause does from within the app regardless of what is technically happening. :D

It does work the way it does it within the app. If you pause within the app it gets rid of the one in the notification bar as well. I'm not sure exactly what you want since I wouldn't want to permanently have it as an ongoing activity regardless of whether or not it's playing.

I meant: when I hit Pause from within the app- the app doesn't disappear!

I want it to work like a gross majority of my other music apps including Google Music Player.

Pause and restart from notification controls. Without being able to restart- it is almost completely useless frankly.

If you don't want it running as an activity, quit app with exit from within app of course, or any of the other methods you choose.

Not sure if it works with dsub but it works with the standard android app...if your device is rooted there is an app called widgetlocker that lets you put widgets on your lockscreen.
