The app definitely needs a design refresh. Preferably following the holo guidelines. That and a decent widget. After that, it will definitely be the best client out there. Thanks.

Any chance on making a decent widget? I bought it, but now I am wondering why because a music player without a widget is like lasagna without cheese.

Was there a recent update?

My notification controls are now completely broken.

Pause button now selects next track (rather than stop), FF button is previous, and previous butt terminates.

No I hadn't updated it but I started noticing the same thing today. I just pushed an update which should fix it.

To be honest I haven't touched most of the todo list recently since I have instead been more working on other things that people have broughten up. Currently I'm mostly concentrating on the UI related stuff (widget, lock-screen controls, action bar, etc). And I think after that the thing that annoys be the most still is the lack of playlist editing (add song to playlist x, change order of songs in playlist, etc)

Lol, almost a full month later Google finally got back to me and unbanned Subphonic. Oh well too late to go back but at least this hopefully means they won't be banning DSub (though I did like the old name more)

Ok, just bought it... Having a weird issue...I'm using the Dark theme and when I go to Recently Added->Select an album... and then I hit back, the album/artist dissapears and it just shows the cd cover, when i press and hold on it i can see the text, so im guessing its just a color issue? black text on black bg.

I have a couple feature requests. Both of these may be too difficult or time consuming so I understand if you don't want to do them or can't do them but I thought I'd ask.

1) After seeing the iSub app for iPhone, I like how it gives you the option to cache a song or play it. If you click-hold on a song, album, artist, whatever... it will give you two options: cache or play. I know you can make the app cache songs by queuing them up in a playlist and pausing it but an intended button for caching would be cool.

2) I'd love to see a direct integration in to the bluetooth settings menu for the android phone itself or something similar. Specifically, the reason I ask is because of this... I have a bluetooth adapter in my car so I can listen to subsonic from my phone through my car stereo. The bluetooth adapter doesn't auto pair to my phone though. I have to tell it to pair first, then go in to the subsonic app and play the songs. Not a huge deal but it would be cool if there was a quick button in the subsonic app that I could quickly click to pair up to my car's bluetooth adapter or something to make this process smoother and easier to do while driving.

I have purchased the dsub app and I like it. I'm not sure how you did this but it seems like it is faster to poll the server for data. It's much nicer. I don't think this is all in my head but maybe it is. ;) I also LOVE the random playlist feature.

Thanks for taking the time to make a newer app for Android users.

Yah I'm able to reproduce it. It's weird since it only seems to happen for that particular cases I've tried selecting things and then going back in other places and it doesn't happen. I'll try to fix that for you.

Yes I'm currently working on a background download since there isn't any right now. Even when you pin something it still adds it to the currently playing list in order to do it. As for the bluetooth thing, I probably wouldn't be able to get to that right now since I don't even own any bluetooth stuff to test it with.

Sounds good. I understand on the bluetooth thing.

And again, thanks for making the Android app better and being responsive on the forums. :)
