How well does dsub play w navigation? On older android versions when I would be using gps subsonic audio would lower when a new navigation direction would occur. Any ideas? Ty

Edit- does anybody know if this works with zombie run by six to start?

I really don't have a clue what you are asking in either of your questions.

I do. He's talking about the music volume automatically muting when the navigation instructions are given, I took a road trip recently using GPS Google maps for instructions while using Dsub. It was fine. I can't remember the details of whether it actually muted the music, but I was able to hear the driving instructions just fine. I guess if I didn't notice any problem it must be working fine.

Ah, then if that is what he is talking about then that is completely out of the app developers control. AFAIK the API is designed that way so that when apps try to play something they can mute the stuff in the background temporarily while it plays. And really I'm not sure why you wouldn't want that to happen since otherwise you can't hear the driving instructions that you are given.

It still has the problem of not muting or ducking the music when the navigation is giving directions, at least in JB and ICS also had this bug with the subsonic app.

Hmm I thought it did that automatically but I'll take a look into it. And the widget should be fixed soon.

Just downloaded the new version and saw the lockscreen widget. Many many thanx for that. Works like a charm.

Thx for update. Update has however broken the app for me. Once i select a song or album to play i get a force close. I have removed and restarted the device.

Are you on Android 2.3 or 4.0?

Alright sorry about that. The update I just pushed should fix the issue. Apparently in offline mode getDuration is null for some reason and I wasn't doing an explicit check for it.

Thanks for the quick fix and the lock screen widget. Would it be possible to add the ability to save playlist files locally?
