Everything works except Play/Queue button

Postby theG » Fri Sep 14, 2012 7:49 pm

I have Subsonic 4.6 installed (stand-alone) on my seedbox but I have one problem: I cannot add songs (bottom: playlist/queue)
When I press the Play button, the + to add songs (queue), Play all, Play random or Add all it does absolutely nothing.

I can create a playlist, add songs to it, save the playlist, then load it. No problem here.
The playlist and tracks load like they should and they play like they should, but yeah, playing a song from the album track list doesn't work.
Any idea what could cause that? Permissions on a specific file or folder perhaps?
What file is the queue written to? Perhaps that's the problem?

Thats a weird one :?
I am wondering if your user a/c has got somewhat corrupted.
Try creating another user and see if that works.

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

You could also delete the jetty directory in C:/subsonic (or equiv), go back to the artist view and see if it helps. Sometimes one of the generated html files get corrupt, resulting in odd errors like this.

Ah, that worked. I was using the admin account and used it to share playlists, I guess I'll just use another account instead then. Don't know why it wouldn't work with that account, but I can surely use another account. Thanks
