Trouble with the Music Bee Subsonic plugin

Postby Twinklebear » Sat Sep 15, 2012 2:52 am

<-------------------------Subsonic Help Request---------------------->
Problem Description: I'm attempting to add the subsonic plugin for music bee http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=3620.0 to play from subsonic that's running off my home server, however when entering the server information, I get the error:
Error: The server committed a protocol violation.
Section=ResponseStatusLine

Troubleshooting Steps: I've done some unsuccessful googling about the issue and also confirmed that Subsonic does work via web browser, it's only with the Music Bee plugin that I receive this error.
Playback Application and version: Music Bee 2.x, the latest RC version
Subsonic Version: 4.7 (build 3105) – September 11, 2012
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_147-icedtea, Linux (91.2 MB / 140.1 MB)
Hardware Platform: Subsonic running on Ubuntu 12.04, Music Bee running on Windows 7 Prof.
Java Memory Limit: not sure where to find this information
Problem Filename: N/A
Output from ffmpeg -i: N/A
Last ten log file lines: I don't think it's applicable as I see nothing related to the issue in the log, but here it is, as you can see web playback works excellently.

I would suggest posting on the forum you linked on as you are more likely to get a response there.
I haven't seen any posts regarding that plugin so I don't know if any of users here are using that app.

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

Ah I'll try there as well, I wasn't sure where to post as in the post to download the plugin he mentions that he wouldn't really be able to help with any errors, so I thought I'd give the subsonic forums a shot.
I'll head over there, thanks.
