Album thumbnails not being generated?

Hi all,

I have just updated to 4.7. I seem to be having an issue with album art after the upgrade, a bunch of my albums were suddenly showing missing album art. My library has a mix of albums with cover.jpg in the folder, and art embedded in the mp3 tags. Has the behaviour changed so it only reads one or the other now?

Anyway, I have gone through some of the albums to download to new art. I click on the album, click 'Change' under the missing album art and choose the new art. It downloads cover.jpg to the mp3 folder OK. I click back to go back to the album. I now have 'Change' and 'Zoom' under the album art but it still shows it as missing (ie non thumbnail). If I click on the zoom button it shows the art.

Has anyone observed this same behaviour? Or know where I begin with troubleshooting this?

Is it possible to clear the album art cache out and have it rescan it all?

sorry, didn't look hard enough. I have just found this post which suggests doing a 'reload frame'. This seems to sort the issue....

sorry for the stream of conciousness, but for interests sake I wouldn't mind knowing why a bunch of my album art just disappeared? Does subsonic no longer read it from id3?

Still reads embedded art ok on my setup With the same limitations as before eg 1st available (eg track 1)

Something's up, I have lots of albums with the default album art (in the recently added, random pages) yet when I click on the album it shows the correct album cover there. It's like it's not generating the small thumbnails for those front pages?
