The administrator? There is only one account on the pc and thats BIGSACKS. Does that mean its the administrator?

Yes you will need to restart the Subsonic service. You should be able to do that by a right click on the green tray icon then click on Stop - wait till the icon turns red - click Start - then wait till it turns green.

Then go back into subsonic and see if it reads the drive.

Just wanted to add - there's probably a button called "PrtScr" on your keyboard, normally up above the Insert, PageDown etc. If you press it, it takes a screenshot of the windows you see on your screen and copies it as a picture to your clipboard. If you press Alt+PrtScr, only the active window is included in the screenshot. You can paste that immediately on a site like imgur.com. It might be easier than using a camera?

B:\

Use B:\

Even the correct slash is important.

You should also have your music in a folder, such as B:\Music

Create B:\Music - put in a few folders with music in each one.

Enter B:\Music in the Media Folders entry.

Scan

Enjoy

You need to develop a better eye for detail.

If you've been trying to get B:/ working all this time - that has been the source of the problem the whole time.

Well, if you look in the image you posted above, you entered B:/

I know for sure that that entry won't work.

The only other thing that I can think of is that B: is usually used for floppy drives.

Sometimes us old timers just know instinctively what NOT to do. The B: drive is usually defined in most bios entries as a floppy drive and the system expects that it's not used as a hard drive entry. It therefore can't recognize and interpret the file system properly.

Experience is a marvelous teacher isn't it?

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
