Android cache location

I have bought one of the new cheap chinese tablets with very little internal sd card. I have installed a larger external card. When trying to configure the cache location from /mnt/sdcard/subsonic/music to /mnt/extsd/subsonic/music The message "Invalid cache location" appears.

Any ideas?

I have the same issue with the galaxy S3 from ATT... still haven't found a solution

seems like an issue with Android.... If the developer wanted to, here (http://www.chainfire.eu/articles/113/Is ... SD_cards_/) is a way to fix it for samsung because samsung provided a work around but if the developer is using the way it is designed, it won't work. In other words, this fix is specific to samsung and requires the special attention to it from the developer.
