Subsonic 4.7 web player not sorting by ID3

I have searched everywhere for this, and I cannot find an answer to my question.

I wan to use the ID3 tagging structure that I have putinto all of my music files for sorting in Subsonic. In the normal webplayer after upgrading to 4.7 it still only shows my folder structure on the left hand side. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch keeping nothing from the old install, nothing seems to work.

If anyone has any ideas why this may be not working for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, I saw that one, but even there it didn't seem like anyone had an answer other than install MusicCabinet. I can do that, but I thought that with 4.7 they had added ID3 sorting as the default behaviour! Am I wrong in this assumption?

I had a look in the source code and it seems like Sindre has started adding it, but it's not finished. (it's there in LeftController.java, but not in left.jsp)

so I guess it won't be there until 4.8 or something. but I have no official facts backing this up
