How to stream video to Android without flash player ?

Postby holopoint » Sun Sep 30, 2012 11:31 pm

Hello everyone.
The default settings for SubSonic is to encode video in FLV,
but Flash is no longer supported on Android devices of version 4.0 and higher.
Anyone has an alternative way of doing this ?

Thanks.

There is not currently an option that will stream video to any device without flash.

Sorry,

Yes there is. HLS works kind of. I manage to get it to stream 20 seconds of video and then it stopped. I started a thread here in the help section asking for help with the setup, but no answers. I don't get why this isn't a bigger topic since this is a big thing for iDevices.
