That looks like it's my fault. When you laid your hands on 28k songs, could it be that (since they're from a DJ), there are LOTS of different artists?

The background here is that there's one member on the forum with a library of 500k songs. Fetching artist info from last.fm for all those artists took a long, long time. Therefore, I made it so that the media scanning has an upper limit, it doesn't try to fetch more than a few thousand (I think) artist biographies at a time, so that you can at least get started listening to music. The next time you scan your library, an additional few thousand biographies will be fetched until all artists have biographies, similar artists etc.

I didn't think it would crash like that though... sorry. It's meant to just not have a biography. I'll add that to my TODO list.

Could you try scanning again and see if it persists?
