how do i change server (address)?

Problem Description: how do i change server (address) (YOURNAME.subsonic.org)? i have seen a better one. i thought it would be easy, but its not going the way i thought
Troubleshooting Steps: searched 'folder' in Help forum
Playback Application and version: Standard Subsonic Web Interface (i assume)
Subsonic Version: 4.7 (build 3106) – September 12, 2012
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_37, Windows 7 (30.5 MB / 62.0 MB)
Hardware Platform: Windows
Java Memory Limit: 150MB*
Problem Filename: NA
Output from ffmpeg -i: NA
Last ten log file lines: NA

should i change Java Memory Limit from 150MB? what would that do?
would Problem Filename be the music file i was trying to play?
where would i find Output from ffmpeg?
where would i find Last ten log file lines?

i have seen a better availible address. i thought it would be easy, but its not going the way i thought.

Status: mg.subsonic.org responded successfully.
can it be less than 2 letters? like the first one, the once i want.
now i think of it im not sure which is availible. was it successfull because its already in use (so responded to that server), or was it not registered (for me) because it is already in use?

Are you asking a question? I can't tell from what you've posted if you have a problem or are just kind enough to share what you've been doing with us.

If you need help, you'll have to describe the problem. The title indicates you're trying to figure out how to change the server address, but your posts son't clearly indicate that the address isn't working.

Getting the server address working is pretty easily fixed if you're actually having trouble.

sb.subsonic.org isn't working, so we would need to verify that your subsonic ports are open and responding to internet requests. You can do that by testing your Subsonic port at http://canyouseeme.org

hi, sorry.
i'll look into it myself a little later.
i was asking, how do i change my server address.
i wanting it as short as possible.
i not the best at getting my point across sometimes sorry, i still cant think of another way of putting it. i want to change the server address (URL) from the one i am using now, to another one.

Got to the "Settings/Network" page and enter any name you want into the white box at the bottom and "Save" then watch to see if you get a response, "Status: Successfully registered web address."

i think the addresses i had been trying are taken. i quite sure i didnt see "Status: Successfully registered web address.". i eventually got "Status: mg1.subsonic.org responded successfully."

i got:
Web address m.subsonic.org not registered.
mg.subsonic.org responded successfully.
mg1.subsonic.org responded successfully.

when i try to log into mg. it says wrong password, so am i correct in thinking some1 else is using that address (and idk password).
mg1. is mine and is fine.
m. is the 1 i would prefer, what does it mean by "not registered"?

m.subsonic.org - Retrurns Main Subsonic website - either it is not registered or it is not allowed, I've never tested one letter addresses.

mg.subsonic.org - returns 99.72.204.252 and is therefore registered and in use.

mg1.subsonic.org - returns 77.97.2.119 and is hopefully your external ip address.

It may be that the registration redirect service just doesn't accept single letter entries; you could test a few others to see.

EDIT: I just tested x.subsonic.org and it worked. I then tried m and it wouldn't register. Go figure.
