Android ads not removed [Resolved]

Hi, after the recent update to the android app, I paid to disable ads in the player. The next day, an update was released to "[fix] problem with purchase not being registered", which I assume is to do with the ad removal purchase. Even after updating, ads still appear in the player, and if I click the "remove ads" link on the main screen of the app, the Play Store informs me that I've already purchased the item.

I'm wondering if uninstalling and reinstalling the app might fix things, but thought I should ask here first to confirm. Is there something I can do to remove the ads?

Yes, remove and reinstall. When reinstalled, the app will see that the ad-free option has been purchased and will hide the ads.

Thanks for the reply, everything went smoothly and the ads are removed.

My only real worry was that the tracks I had cached would be lost and I'd have to reload them, but they seem to have survived just fine, so all is well!
