4.7 and Wavpack library track numbers

Postby aullcm » Tue Oct 30, 2012 1:03 pm

Hi. After upgrading from 4.6 to 4.7 my track order changed to alphabetical. The tracks were sorted by track number in 4.6. It appears that 4.7 is not picking up the track numbers. My library consists of Wavpack files which use APEv2 tags. Would this be the cause and is there a fix or workaround? Also my track data is in the form nn/nn if that is relevant. Thanks for any insight!

Windows 7 64-bit platform. Java version is 6.0.350.

I have the same issue and will roll back to 4.6 unless there is an easy fix? Albums aren't supposed to be heard in an alphabetical order!
Clean install.

4.6 didn't pick up the track numbers either as it cannot read ape tags - however it would sort using the file path.
So if your files were named <Track#> <Title>.wv for instance it would then sort correctly.
What 4.7 does (on my test server) I do not know as I cannot get any wv files to display :?
(And yes I did add wv to the filetypes)

Yeah, I reported the ape tags problem here awhile back, with no response. I have my files named as you say which I would guess most people do.

I had to force a rescan before the wv files would display.
