SubSonic Gone A-Wall

Postby nstrand711 » Fri Nov 23, 2012 10:49 pm

I currently upload lots of music to my subsonic account. Havent really have problems prior, but this is the only thing I could connect too. However, seems to have more issues popping up.

Heres my run down:

Home connections test out at 20 Down/ 4 Up

4.6- Originally had 4.6 installed
Computer would show server was green.
I could access both Local and ".subsonic.org
-Both were slow. Accessing folders was extremely slow, but it seemed to go at a good speed for the top tabs/buttons/settings etc.
APPS- The app tested connection of the server, and test came back successful. I could get my first line of folders to pop up, how ever if I go any deeper, I would get my "try 1 of 4"... And would soon fail.

I then upgraded to 4.7 thinking that would solve the issue.

Now when I log onto both local/remote .subsonic.org it get:

HTTP ERROR: 404

NOT_FOUND
RequestURI=/index.view

Powered by Jetty://

At first I thought it could be the files I recently added. I was thinking 2500 in one folder was freaking subsonic out. However what ever the problem is seems to be getting worse.

Any ideas?

Thanks all!

Nick

Please review the popular setup tutorial here:

Particular attention to router setup (canyouseeme.org test for your port) and depending on your collection size, the initial media scan can take a while, to be patient. G'luck! :)

2500 files in one folder is NOT a good idea. You may have other issues as well, but 2500 files in one folder will definitely be problematic.

Deselect that folder and troubleshoot wothout it. If you get everything working. then you can add it back in to see what kind of impact it has.
