[Answered] Possible to change number of podcast downloads

I don't know if this is something that is Madsonic specific, or if it is the same for the stock Subsonic. Basically, the question.. is it possible to change the number of simultaneous podcast downloads? Right now it appears to be hard coded to 3 downloads and I have been unable to find anywhere in settings to increase/decrease this. Am I just missing something, or is this value actually hard coded?

Hi,
you are right this is hard coded to the podcast-service. On next build i increase this to 5 downloads.

But this should be kept low because you can change on the other side the download queue size (example 10)
so after the frist 3 podcast downloads the next 3 podcasts getting downloaded.

Gotcha.

The main reason I was asking is because me and my users have added a handful of podcasts with a large number of episodes available and it took quite a long time to download, so I wasn't sure if this could be sped up in the future. I do like that the new limit will be 5, that will be better.

Hi, Since 4.8 Beta 2 you can edit this in the Podcast-settings.
