Local Delete

Postby deljones » Thu Dec 13, 2012 10:20 pm

Hi

Love my Subsonic and love my DSub.. Execellent... I have been using them both now for a week and have become an addict!!!

I have a question about Local deleting.

If I download 3 albums from my Subsonic server to my phone then go offline I see all three albums and all the songs which all play. So far so good.

To delete a song I have to drill to the song in question, hold the title to get the drop menu where delete is, select delete and its gone. Again so far so good.

How can I delet a whole album? The delete option is not available for albums..? To delete I have to delete all of the tracks but the album "folder" stays until I exit the app and restart Then the album has gone.

The other way to delet an album is to delete it using a file manager on the phone.

Is it possible to add a delete to the drop down for an albu as well as a track within the album. Im guessing its a technical reason?

Otherwiase great app and has revitalised my music listening.... Thanks

I'll definitely add that to the todo list. I don't really worry about deleting manually that often so I haven't really thought about it but I can definitely see why that would be annoying if you do.

For now if you want to delete an entire album at a time you can go into the album, then with nothing selected go to the main menu and press delete. That should delete the cache for the entire album. Not as nice as being able to do it without going down to the song level but still easier then using the context menus for each song to delete them. Also you can click the little arrow on the right hand side to quickly bring up it's menu instead of just long pressing. Although I will state this method will still not delete the album folder itself until you exit and come back in as it currently is.

That would be great.... It's useful if you are tight on memory or you get fed up with an album to be able to just zap it...

Thanks for you quick reply and a great app...
