Android client hangs on playback

I've noticed an issue lately where I'll be in the middle of a playlist and it hangs at the beginning of a new song.

On the player window it will show its still downloading though in the playlist it shows the download is complete and its already moved on to the next song.

Hitting so then play normally gets it playing again.

I have had this issue with both the standard and Dsub clients and also running server 4.7 and madsonic 4.7.

Anyone seen this issue before?

My search is limited on tapatalk.

Mind providing some logs? Is this only happening while files are downloading? Or is it also happening when you are just playing files which were already downloaded earlier?

It happens while downloading only, the song will get to the end of downloading then hang instead of showing completed. This in in the player window under the album cover. If I have the playlist also showing, I get the check the song finished over there and it moves on to downloading the next song without issue.

What logs would you like? There's nothing that stands out in the server log. Is it possible to turn up the logging level?

I will grab the log and a screen shot the next time it happens and post it up. The only error I see in the log is this - "WARN RESTFilter - Error in REST API: EofException
org.mortbay.jetty.EofException" and that seems to be a known issue.

I mean the android logs. You can use something like alogcat to get them.

Edit: And is the recent problem. And if so, how recent?

Since upgrading to the latest app using the ad free version. I hadn't had my server online for awhile, got it back at the beginning of Dec, been happening since then. I'll run a logcat next time it happens.

Just an update, since upgrading to Madsonic beta 4.8, this has stopped happening..
