The error "Subsonic Error ConcurrentModificationException" appears on the phone. When I click "ok" it keeps popping up 2-6+ times. While I'm clicking OK repeatedly, the sound is perfect over the speakers. Also notable is that the background around the transport controls on the phone is red.
Of note is that this was working just fine for a couple days, until I moved my music folders around. (This is a brand new install of Win8 Pro, and I'm still getting oriented).
Since moving the folders around, this has been the way of things. I tried uninstalling Subsonic and deleting c:\subsonic, but the symptoms remain.
Interestingly it plays ok using the minisub player on my laptop.
