Invalid licence response

Hi,

I have been using different versions of subsonic andoid apps for the last few months. I was bothered with the ads. I have compiled dsub, but even with it I get some popups when I try for instance to play a playlist ("play now"). It says that the time frame for unlimited downloads is over and that I should donate to get unlimited downloads back. I am using musiccabinet on the other side.

Is this behavior normal? What should I do to remove that popup that blocks me from playing some stuff.

Usually that means that for whatever reason you are getting a invalid license response from the server. Why you are getting it I don't know.

Is it normal to get that with Musiccabinet?

I haven't actually changed the getLicense.view, I wasn't aware the apps bothered to use it. For me, it returns:

Do the apps check the key and compare it to the email address (I think it's just md5:ed.. or used to be)? i.e do we need to put real, fake values there, or can we use any dummy value?

I have no idea. Maybe it would be best to just remove it?

I considered removing the licence check. The reason I left it in is because in a default installation the server will give invalid licence responses no matter what you do once the trial expires.

And no I dont do anything special I just check if that view returns true or if any of the views return invalid licence error.
