Non streaming video

Hi all..

I wonder if there are any video transcoding experts in the house who can help me?

Very happy with my Subsonic set up. Now I have moved onto videos. If I select a video it plays fine but it doesn't really 'stream' It plays for about 10 seconds, stops, another 10 seconds, stops. The stops are very small, like its re buffering. The setting I have is:

AVI > FLV | avi > flv 3G avi flv | ffmpeg -i %s -f flv -y -s 800x480 -ar 44100 -b 500kb -ab 32kb -ac 1 -

I understand, I think, the various components with no real change. Most of the moves are MP4s
