OS X Compatibility

I have noticed this is not directly available on OS X. I have been running subsonic on my apple server for a while and I am very interested in running MadSonic on it given the extra features. Is there a possible way to install madsonic to OSX or any plans to make it available on OS X? Though i could spin up a linux or windows virtual machine on my ESXi box, all my media shares are apple formatted and would be a major pain to move stuff around and reformat just to try out a subsonic mod.
