Desktop and Laptop. How to install only one user?

How many computers can i install subsonic with the same user (same licence)? I have a desktop and a laptop. I want to install the same user and licence in both of them. May I?

I hate to be in the "your doing it wrong" crowd, but isn't the entire point of Subsonic that you set it up once and your other computers (ie your laptop) connect to it instead?

You can reuse your license on as many servers as you want. You can then also give them each their own vanity domain name under the same license.

yeah surely one install is all you need and then the other devices can browse to it.. ?
