able to download the song, if the URL is used in address bar

Hi,

I am working on a website which plays songs from the streaming server, for which I have used gigapros. I installed the subsonic on my gigapros server. Everything works perfectly fine but for streaming I have to feed the stream URL (For Ex. http://my-server:4040/rest/stream?u=use ... yapp&id=24) to my jplayer.

The songs also works fine. But the problem is that, I can get the stream URL from the Firebug or view source. If I paste this URL in the address bar, I can download the song. How can I prevent this from happening?

Is there something I am missing ?

Is there any other approach to this ? I need help ASAP please.

Its impossible to stop recording any stream (SS or otherwise).
If it can be played on the pc then you can record it. There are a number of tools out that that can capture and record streams, you have just found one option.

but is there any other way to send the url to the subsonic API to stream. I dont want people to be able to download, if they have the URL. In other words can I encrypt the URL and send it to subsonic to stream the song ?
