Port number now showing up in address

Postby mockingbrd » Mon Jan 21, 2013 4:54 pm

I just performed a fresh re-install of subsonic. I used the automatic port forwarding option in the subsonic settings previously and now again after the re-install. Previously, all I would have to do is type in my IP address to get to my subsonic login. Now, the port is required at the end of the IP address (see below).

Before: XX.XXX.XX.XX
Now: XX.XXX.XX.XX:4040

My problem is that the majority of my users have JUST the IP address in their clients (my subsonic.org registered address goes down sometimes). I'd like to get my settings back to JUST requiring the IP address as opposed to needing the port number at the end as well.

Help? Thanks.

Change your ports to port 80 for http traffic and 443 for ssl traffic (if you use that).
