Subsonic in the UK/England

Postby somercamb » Sun Mar 10, 2013 4:06 pm

Does Subsonic work in the UK/England? I gave my personal site name to a friend but they cannot access it. They just get the subsonic homepage. I did look on the board (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=121&p=382&hilit=england#p382), but found no answer to this.

And my friend is using Safari

Thank you

i figured as much.

Two questions:

Why would my friend be seeing only the home page of subsonic and not a login page for my personal subsonic site?

Does Safari have anything to do with it?

If your site is available on the WAN (verified?) and responds properly to your subsonic.org address, perhaps he mistyped?

You cam send me the link, by pm, if you like, as that would be a proper test.

Do your settings/network show that your Yourname.subsonic.org address is successfully registered

I can not access the website subsonic.org either. My server refuses to register it's personal web adress (HttpSocketException). I am unable to resolve any of the subsonic.org domain's except for this forum. I am unable to do so from 3 separate servers ranging from the US, UK and EU. If I cannot access the main subsonic website from 3 separate places around the globe then this leads me to believe that either the main server is down, any of it's DNS servers are down, or there's some sort of load balancing glitch going on here :D

See viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11668

There may have been an intermittent problem with the redirect service before which caused problems for the OP.
It was OK when I tested but it looked as if there where issues before & after :|
