Not sure if this is a bug or by design but I thought I'd mention it. I was playing music using mobile data and the music was getting transcoded to a lower bitrate per my settings. I then switched to wifi and dsub continued to request the lower bitrate even though I have no limit set on wifi. I needed to exit dsub to get it to pick up on the connection change.

Nope it most definitely is not supposed to do that. I thought I had it fixed at one point but it looks like I need to check that it didn't get broken at one point.

It was fixed way before that, and looking at it now it appears to be broken again (though I'm not sure where). I probably won't include it in the fix going out tonight or tomorrow, but in the one after that.

Thanks for the great update! the gap on jelly-bean is a major improvement to how it was before. one thing i noticed, the "gapless" playback doesn't work for a track that started playing and downloading at the same time (same condition that causes stuttering during playback). the gap to the next track will be like it was before, but for cached tracks the playback is very close to gapless. not a big deal, but just another data point i guess.

Yes unfortunately until I can solve the skipping issue it will have to be that way. The problem is that when it "skips" it is actually restarting the song. If you already have the next song setup when it does that then it will just end the song right then and there. I will be taking out that check whenever I can fix the issue so it's not restarting like that.

You keep making this app so much better with every update! Love the new drag and drop for playlists..something ive been wishing for since i started using subsonic!

Any chance for figuring out the now playing list where you can see what everyone is listening to?

also I use isub on my ipad and utilize the airplay feature quite frequently to send whats playing to my xbmc steup. Is there anyway you can add something like this to dsub? It would be great for when you are driving home from work then walk in and send it to your main stereo.

thanks again for all your hard work!

i'm not sure if this is a bug or intended behavior:

long press on the playlist invokes movement operation as expected. long press on artist view does not as expected (brings up play now play last etc.). long press on album view (list of albums after selecting an artist) brings up movement operation which isn't expected (it should bring up play now etc). this happens when viewing the albums of an artist as well as when viewing things like recently added to the server lists. i don't think it makes sense to want to move those objects around while it does make sense to want to move the playlist objects around.

It was intended to be able to move the albums around. I wanted to be able to because a lot of times I want them to play in a certain order. But you are right that it doesn't make much sense to be able to move them around under the Recently Added section and stuff. I will have to reevaluate where it makes sense to do movements.

I have a couple of (minor) suggestions for DSub:

1. On the play queue (Now Playing screen), I'd like to be able to see the total time for all tracks in the queue - could this be added?
2. On the lockscreen widget, the currently playing track is listed as Track name - Album. Could this be changed to Artist - Track name? Or even better, Artist - Track name with Album underneath?

1) This probably wouldn't be too hard to add, but where is the more important question. I don't see any good empty spaces to put it, and I don't want to clutter things by cramming in another stat.
2) On the lockscreen widget it is:
Album
Track Name
No dash involved, so I'm not sure what you mean.

He's saying artist would be a more useful piece of information on the widget.

Yes that's what I meant.

And as for the total time for songs in the queue, maybe put it around the top of the screen? If you make the 'Now Playing' text smaller and reduce the space between the buttons on the top right-hand side, you could fit it in?

I was going to make a post about the bluetooth position/duration issue as well. I use a stock Galaxy Note 2 with my VW's bluetooth stereo and I'd be happy to run any necessary tests. I would love to get this working as well.

I'm not sure if my car's stereo supports diaplying the album art, though, since I've never seen it work before.
