Stream video to Android

I have an Android 4.2 phone and tablet with subsonic installed. I want to stream video, however I can't seem to figure out how this is supposed to work. When I click on a video, I get taken to the browser which demands I install Flash. However there is no flash support on Android (anymore), so I can't play videos at all. I've so far not been able to figure out how to stream videos in HTML5 (I disabled flv/h264 video for that player and added webm transcoding)
