Can't get transcoding of video to work

Postby reybr » Mon Apr 01, 2013 9:17 am

Hi,

I have a problem getting video playback to work with transcoding.

The only error message i get is "Video not found or access denied" in the JW player

I'm using 4.7 (build 3105) – September 11, 2012 installed on a Synology DS212j NAS server

The only thing noted in the Subsonic log is

Code: Select all
[4/1/13 10:00:39 AM GMT+01:00]    INFO   PlayQueueInputStream   admin listening to "music/Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen (Chatroulette Version).mp4"
[4/1/13 10:00:39 AM GMT+01:00]    DEBUG   TranscodeInputStream   Starting transcoder: [/usr/syno/synoman/webman/3rdparty/Subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg] [-ss] [0] [-i] [/volume1/music/Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen (Chatroulette Version).mp4] [-async] [1] [-b] [1000k] [-s] [640x360] [-ar] [44100] [-ac] [2] [-v] [0] [-f] [flv] [-vcodec] [libx264] [-preset] [superfast] [-threads] [0] [-]

Output of ffmpeg -i from prompt

If I turn of transcoding, it plays without problems, so the problem should be with the transcoding.
The problem is there regardless of what kind of videofile I try to transcode.
It does however transcode FLAC music files without problems, so Subsonic can start ffmpeg

Any ideas what might be the problem?
