And daneren2005 and tmwsiy, the demo server works fine as well as my friend's server to which I have access.I rebooted the router (and modem), but no such luck. :(

I had a similar issue earlier, but no idea what caused it (or its soulution). So, I can duplicate, but offer no real help.
As for earlier, I honestly didn't think you were being cheap - sorry for the inferred implication.

My Note 2 has 4.1.1 and I'm using Beans ROM 12.
any idea's ?
Thanks, Tony

I uninstalled then re-installed Dsub and that fixed my problem. Thanks for the great app.

Is there anyway to shuffle my entire library ?

Sorta. Press the shuffle button on the home tab and it gets a random list of (default) 20 songs. As you listen to it more will be added. So that basically gets you what you want, but it isn't actually shuffling your entire library at once.

Thanks for restoring the swipe to scrub feature, and for responding to my email. I'm enjoying this app.

I'm really curious now. What is the swipe to scrub feature? I tried swiping just about everywhere and couldn't get anything to happen for me.

Also, I just discovered the randomize song feature. I always thought the random arrows at the top were for controlling the playback mode after you made a playlist, so I never tried it. One thing though... would it be possible to get a drop-down list of my genre's for selecting the genre instead of the free form field? I have several complex genre names that make it difficult to remember/enter in the free form entry field.

Yes, just not until Subsonic 4.8 I asked Sindre to implement a getGenres call and he said he would.

The swiping actions are only handled on the now playing tab with the album art visible. Basically if you start a song and swipe down it skips 30 (?) seconds ahead, or if you swipe up it goes back 8 I think.

The app literally just asks for a connection to your server. Like tmwsiy said, does the demo server work. It is almost always a problem with your router setup if you can't connect via mobile phones. If you tried to open it in the browser (on your phone) you should have the same issue.

Hi again,

Well, I have uninstalled and re-installed DSub and now I cannot access my friend's server nor mine on my phone. The login page won't even show up on my phone (on a browser) for either page. However, I CAN access my friend's page on my desktop with no trouble.

The DEMO server works fine. I have rebooted the router as well

Thank you

Yah, if the login page won't show up on the browser the app has nothing to do with it.

Since I upgraded to 3.8.3, I no longer have any track info passed to my bluetooth car stereo. This was working previously (except no track time or position marker, as previously discussed). My phone has also been upgraded from Android 4.1.2 to 4.2, so I am not sure whether this has impacted the way that information is passed to the bluetooth device.

Also, I had dSub set to temporarily reduce volume when the app lost focus. While listening using the phone speaker, the volume would reduce for a notification, but never increases after the notification tone ends. Again, I'm unsure as to whether this is a dSub or Android issue.

Can you install the 3.8.2 apk from the announcement thread to check whether it is a issue of the ROM or not?

The lag issues are fixed!

Hallelujah!

No seriously, awesome job dev. Really makes DSub so much better than the stock app.

On a long list of songs/albums, the scrollbar will linger on screen for a second or two before disappearing but while it's onscreen, it obscures the arrow that brings up the context menu for that song or album - could this delay be removed? It's a minor thing but I do find it quite annoying when you want to play/queue songs in a hurry and you end up unintentionally jumping elsewhere on the list of songs because the scrollbar still happens to be on screen!
