Problem with last.fm not being configured for each user

Postby sytanek » Mon Apr 08, 2013 3:50 pm

I can configure Last.FM, and it works, but if I add a new user, and log in as that user, it gives me the message about Last.FM not being configured. I can link it for that user, then the message goes away from that point on. Not horrible, but slightly annoying. Not sure if anyone else is seeing the same thing.

Just wanted to say great job on this! Especially the artist radio, top tracks, and similar artists. These are must have features for me, and you did a great job implementing them!

Thinking about this, maybe this is intentional so each user can link to their own last.fm account? Not sure and didn't see any specific documentation about this, and if I missed it I apologize.

Found something else odd slightly related to last.fm, If I click any link to last.fm, either an artist link, or the link to last.fm account link, then pressing any subsonic based button loads the target full in the tab, it doesn't constrain it to the frame. I have to close the tab and reopen musiccabinet in a new tab to get it working properly again. Any thoughts?

The last.fm account setup per user is intentional, it's there to give personal recommendations, starred/loved tracks, play statistics etc.

The window/frame issue sounds like a Chrome thing.. I think? I've noted it but I haven't put a lot of energy into it, I guess it'll remain until the <frame> based interface is gone. If I remember correctly you can circumvent it by opening links in a new tab/window or go back to avoid it.

Hey Hakko, thanks for the response :)

Re Last.fm Great, thats pretty sweet.

Yeah using Chrome, it's not a major thing, just slightly annoying :)
