where are the statistics gone in 4.8?

hi,

i just installed version 4.8 and noticed that the statistics (artists, albums, ...)in the left column are gone.
is there a config option i can use to get the statistics back?

Bottom of left column.

[edit]: That change is in 4.7 and presumably carries over to 4.8.
