Problems with Last.fm scrobble submissions?

Postby skapocalypse » Tue Apr 30, 2013 2:59 pm

Anyone else having issues with songs played not being sent to last.fm in the last few days? This has always worked just fine for me when using Subsonic, but I have noticed just recently that it seems nothing is being sent any longer. :?: :?: :?:

So...just me then? Can anyone confirm that scrobbling is still working for them? I did upgrade to version 4.8 recently, not sure if that could be the problem or not.

Scrobbling working OK for me :|
Note sometimes Last FM's scrobble server can get overloaded - check your SS log to see if they are queued
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

I'm having the same problem since upgrading to 4.8 :( The bizarre thing is that when I play music through the android app it gets scrobbled correctly (and appears in the log), but when playing through the web interface I only get "listening to..." events in the log, no song submissions or mentions of subsonic trying to submit...

EDIT: fixed
After testing scrobbling through minisub (which works) I figured it could be a problem with the player instance that was used for playback in chrome.
Deleting my web player (settings>players) and letting subsonic recreate one (I had to restart subsonic/switch browser for it to appear in chrome) fixed the scrobbling issue!
Hope this helps!

Thanks sigma666! This was driving me nuts but doing as you described (deleting the player) fixed it right up. You have made my day!
