I:\Music2\The Baddest of George Thorogood and the Destroyers
I:\Music2\The Dandy Warhols - Come Down [1997]
I:\Music2\The Doors - Live In Detroit (2000)

Here are three examples. It finds the music folder, but nothing inside.

Was hoping to see the full path to the files.. (eg. c:/music/rock/ABBA/GOLD-Greatest Hits/01-Dancing Queen.mp3)
Are these not separated by artist? How many total items in I:\Music2?

That is the total path. It can't see the mp3's inside those cd folders. There are 292 cd folders, with the mp3 files inside them, in the main folder called "Music2". About five folder for some reason shows the mp3s inside. the rest show as empty folders on the player.

Did you try deselecting the folders, rescanning, clean db, reselect folders. rescan?

You will lose historical stats, but you'll probably see the missing folders' music.

Is the extension of the missing files listed in the Music Files block on the General/Settings screen?

I also ran into a situation where a folder didn't show a while back that was cured by deselecting all the media folders and rescanning with no folders selected, running the clean db procedure, then reselecting the folders and rescanning.

One other suggestion would be to check for any typos. When I enter the paths for media folders, I always just copy the address right from the file explorer address bar and just paste it into the entry block.

None of your suggestions worked for me. It's weird. I used Audiogalaxy forever and didn't have this issue. I have tried QLoud and it sees everything fine. i recently have been trying HomeDJ Streaming Player and it sees everything. It sure is frustrating.

I tried your suggestion. It didn't work for me. Thanks, anyways

I can only suggest you review this section "About Music Organization and Display" in the Setup Guide:

You'll have reliable success under the Artist/Album/mp3 hierarchy...like the path I used as an example above.

I've run into the situation a few times where a newly added folder didn't read, but after doing all you've done it should have been resolved by now.

The only thing left to think about is if there might be an issue with the disk files system at the OS level. I'd run whatever disk verification utilities are available for your OS. I'm strictly Windows, so for Win that would be chkdsk.
