Last.fm starred tracks only sync partially after file edits

As stated in the title, some of my music files have been edited recently (updated tags, folder path changed, filename changed, etc.), but most files have been left untouched. My last.fm profile shows 1,753 loved tracks, but when I choose to view "starred" tracks from the MusicCabinet home page, and switch the listing option to "songs," I get a list of only 158 tracks. I tried removing my music file path in the settings, resetting it, and doing a fresh scan of my music, but the results were exactly the same after the scan as they were prior.

Any ideas?


Edit: And one more question - if I star an album, do all of the tracks from that album get starred at last.fm? Does this affect the daily sync in any way?

Are you on the latest version of MC, because the starred/loved track sync didn't really work very well until the last couple of releases and I experienced similar issues to yours until I upgraded. I haven't had any issues on the last couple of versions.

No, starring an album doesn't affect your loved tracks on last.fm.

Well, oddly enough, this seems to have resolved itself. I now have all of my loved tracks back. I didn't do anything, so I guess there was an issue with the sync.

Would it be possible to have the option of automatically starring every track of an album you've starred? I like to make playlists of all of my "loved" tracks to stream to my wife's ipod touch using iSub, and I can't find a better way to do this than adding all my loved tracks to a playlist.

Once again, the starred tracks in subsonic is far fewer than reported by last.fm. Nobody else experiencing this issue?

Hakko, is there any way for us to test the Last.fm sync to find out what's going on? It seems like some sync events pick up all the loved tracks, and some syncs miss them, and I don't see any rhyme or reason behind it.
