How to make playlists default to public?

I have no reason to have private playlists on my server and users keep complaining that they cant find them after they try to share them with each other.
How can i make it so anytime someone makes a playlist it is public just like it used to be?

Am I the only one who takes an issue with this method?

It really closes off the social aspect of the server users, I hope there is a solution to this

I agree, it is a bit of a pain to have to wait for SS to load the playlist in order to perform operations on it.
