I'm trying to re build my subsonic server ...it won't let me past the set up for my web address ...it says it's already taken.... ...of course it is ...BY ME! I can't get past that ....I have a registered license key and all ...

You must use (re-use) the exact same email address to re-register, and re-add your reg key (from your original email) to register. Then simply use the Save button in Settings to refresh its status.

I see that the address is associated with my internal IP that has changed...
any thoughts?

oK .... CHANGED MY INTERNAL IP SETTINGS TO MATCH WHAT my subsonic was looking for .....

I did this once, and it seemed to work:
Choose a "different" hostname, such as adding "1" to the current one.
Save settings, then wait maybe 30-45 minutes for DNS to update.
Check your site at the "new" address, and if it works, go back into settings and change it back to the original setting (take off the "1")
Save settings, and wait another 30-45 minutes for DNS to update again.
Check the site with the address you want.

Sindre would be the one to contact. He's got an account on here - you can PM him, or email him directly (I think his email is on his www.subsonic.org page, I just can't think of it at the moment...)
