Editing Main Page (welcome message panel)

Would like to add Digsby widget to the main page....

So Far:
Opened Home ( from subsonic\jetty\webapp\WEB-INF\jsp)
edited it with dreamweaver added the embed src....
no luck
the welcome panel on the right dissapeared!
Deleted new home file
Replaced with backuped original
Still no luck
Panel is gone!!!!

Should I just reinstall?
Can I add that embed...digsby thing?

Did you restart Subsonic and clear your temporary internet files?
