Transcode AIFF to ALAC...

Hi I am sound Engineer and I hate the LOSSY compression, because I need best/top quality for my job.

I need to transcode AIFF to ALAC (m4r) for streaming (VLC/ITUNE client) or via an HTML browser (SAFARI/FIREFOX), somebody can help me ? is there is someone who already tested this transcode chain ?
