I think he is talking about the subsonic "app" that is available in the Windows 8 market.

I tried it and it did not work for me... but I put very little effort into trying to make it work.

I have the same problem. It occurs when running the Subsonic app as downloaded from the Windows Store, on a laptop running Windows 8 (it's an Asus Vivo with a touchscreen and keyboard). As suggested earlier in this thread, I can access my Subsonic server via the desktop implementation of IE, but not through the new Windows interface (sorry, but I have no idea what this is actually called). I don't think this was always the case. I am pretty sure I was running it in that manner yesterday. I can't do it now, after installing the Subsonic app, though. I've since uninstalled the app.
