Saving Subsonic Data

Postby Pessoa » Sun Sep 01, 2013 3:51 am

My Subsonic hasn't been working lately (detailed here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12522&p=57951#p57951) and I'd like to try to delete and re-install. Is there a way I can keep some files to try to save/restore my Subsonic settings?

On Windows save the C:\Subsonic folder.

Just copy back to the Subsonic directory, but more than likely the database is corrupted and it will only reintroduce the error you've been seeing. The only way to prevent this problem is to make regular backups before the failure, but it's worth a try.

Save a bit of time and save the current clean directory before you restore so you can revert back to the clean configuration if you need to.
