Can't get rid of broken podcast url...buttons are gone

I was trying to get the podcast function to work, and it originally had all the correct interface buttons and the add url box, but I guess I tried to add an invalid url and it broke the podcast function and made all the buttons go away.

I tried reinstalling subsonic, but that didn't solve the issue for some reason...from the screenshot included you can see that the current podcast url has an error, and under the url there are no buttons, so I can't delete it or get rid of it or add any other podcasts.

How can I get rid of this broken podcast url and restore the original podcast interface so that I can use it again?

I have Subsonic 4.9 Premium running on Ubuntu Server 14.04 TLS. I have not any problems until now.

My problem is similar to yours.

I have three podcast URLs listed. The first one says that 5 episodes are downloaded, but when I click on the "show episodes" link nothing happens. The next one shows the URL and "Error on line 51: The entity "raquo" was referenced, but not declared." The third just shows Error. I could display the episode list before I tried adding the other two URLs.

The subsonic logs match what is displayed on the screen as far as error messages go and rebooting the server did not help.

I'm getting this as well. I've first experienced it in 4.8 when I mis-typed the url. It's still there and I've just upgraded to 5.0.

The host is running Windows 8.1 and Java 7v40.

I used Chrome to inspect the page and it found 9 errors on the page, here is a sample of the error found:

I did a test and performed a fresh install of my Subsonic, but I lot so many of my folders and all that I restored it back. Figured I would prefer to have the error than have to rebuild 700gb of directories (Yes some are video, but still)

Had exactly the same problem (one of the podcast URLs was invalid), and the add/remove/update links were gone from the page, along wih the same "invalid episodecount" JS error. As weird as it souds, try opening the podcasts page in internet explorer, mine had the links there and i was able to remove the invalid URL. Failing that, try firefox with Noscript addon.

This happened to me, and the way I fixed it is really easy, provided that you have an Android phone with the DSub Subsonic app. Just go into your podcasts on the app, refresh them so that the podcast in question shows up, and delete it from there. Go back to subsonic in your browser(s) and everything should be back to normal.

I don't believe there is an iOS app with podcast support, and I don't believe that the OFFICIAL Subsonic Android app supports podcasts. DSub does however, and it took me literally seconds to get rid of the bad podcast.
